Spouse KITAP
After two (2) years of marriage, you may apply to transmute the spouse KITAS to spouse KITAP. To acquire Spouse KITAP the marriage should be legal and authorized according to Indonesia Marriage Law. The span of the marriage should be in a minimum of two (2) years before the foreign spouse is admissible to transmute the KITAS into KITAP. During the process of applying to this KITAP, the Indonesian spouse will be the sponsor for the foreign spouse.
Requirements for Spouse KITAP:
Indonesian Citizen Spouse Documents:
- Indonesian ID card (KTP)
- Family registered card (KK)
- Married certificate (Authorized by Indonesian government)
Expat Documents:
- Passport
- A picture with red background (3cm x 4cm)
- KITAS
- Domicile letter
- Residence certificate (SKTT) from Indonesian Registry Office
Investor KITAP
Watch over your business growth and stay longer than before. Investor KITAP allows you to save up your time and energy by doing the legal just once in five (5) years. But before applying for this KITAP you need to work in Indonesia for the same position for at least 4 years.
Requirements for Investor KITAP:
Expat Documents:
- Passport with a minimum validity of eighteen (18) months
- KITAS that is valid for at least 3 months
- A picture with red background (4cm x 6cm)
- Issuance of Expatriate Employment Permit (IMTA)
- Expatriate Placement Hiring Plan (RPTKA)
- Expertise and Skills Development Fund (DPKK)
- Residence certificate (SKTT) from Indonesian Registry Office
Company Documents:
- Deed of company establishment (Akta perusahaan)
- Deed of amendment (if any)
- Attestation letter details
- Tax Registration Number (NPWP)
- Business Identification Number (NIB from OSS)
- Approval of Conformity of Space Utilization Activities (PKKPR from OSS)
- Mandatory Employment Report (WLTK based on UU no.7)
- Letterhead with stamp, one (1) sheet
- Director’s / HRD’s ID Card (KTP) + Tax Registration Number (NPWP)
- Indonesian worker’s ID card (KTP) + photo of 1 employee (as a companion Indonesian worker) if the position is not a director
- Bank account with minimum balance IDR 20.000.000 / USD 1.500 (company account / expat account)
