Working KITAS

To obtain this you have to ensure the employer company is verified legally according to Indonesian law. The company is also required to be registered and have supporting papers. The benefits of the working KITAS are that foreign workers are allowed to open a bank account, to generate income for the duration of the KITAS validity, and to assemble a legal stay.

Requirements for Working KITAS:

Expat Documents:

  1. Passport with a minimum validity of eighteen (18) months for one (1) year stay permit.
  2. Diploma (minimum university)
  3. Reference letter / work experience with minimum 5 years experience.
  4. A picture with red background (4cm x 6cm)
  5. Full dose vaccine (2x) 

Company Documents:

  1. Deed of company establishment (Akta perusahaan)
  2. Deed of amendment (if any)
  3. Tax Registration Number (NPWP)
  4. Business Identification Number (NIB from OSS)
  5. Business License (from OSS)
  6. Location Permit (from OSS)
  7. Mandatory Employment Report (WLTK based on UU no.7)
  8. Letterhead with stamp, one (1) sheet
  9. Director’s ID Card (KTP) + Tax Registration Number (NPWP)
  10. Indonesian worker’s ID card (KTP) + photo of 1 employee (as a companion Indonesian worker) if the position is not a director
  11. Proof of having minimum balance of IDR 20.000.000 / USD 1.500 (company account / expat account)

Investor KITAS

Grow your business by investing in Indonesia. The Investor KITAS is a visa that is specifically designed for business investors in Indonesia. With this KITAS foreign investors are allowed to live and invest their businesses in Indonesia. This permit allows you to stay for two (2) years and can be extended until five (5) years. And after the five (5) years are completed you can apply to be a permanent resident by applying for KITAP. Another benefit of this KITAS is you can stay in Indonesia without any sponsor as long as your company has incorporated in Indonesia. 

Requirements for Investor KITAS:

  1. Passport with a minimum validity of :
  • Eighteen (18) months for a one (1) year stay permit.
  • Twenty four (24) months for two (2) years stay permit

    Investor KITAS in EZPZ JAKARTA

    Spouse KITAS

    Spouse KITAS is made for those foreigners who marry to locals legally, this means the marriage must be convened according to Indonesian Marriage Law. To be married legally the marriage should be authorized by Kantor Urusan Agama and civil registry offices (Kantor Catatan Sipil). This type of KITAS allows foreigners to open a bank account, apply for credit cards, obtain a driver’s license. The foreign spouse also has the possibility to be an Indonesian citizen by applying for KITAP. The validity for this KITAS is extendable until five (5) years. 

    Requirements for Spouse KITAS: 

    Indonesian Citizen Spouse Documents:

    1. Indonesian ID card (KTP)
    2. Family registered card (KK)
    3. Married certificate (Authorized by Indonesian government)
    4. Birth certificate
    5. Bank account proof of having at least IDR 21.000.000 for the last 3 months

    Expat Documents: 

    1. Passport with a minimum validity of eighteen (18) months

    Dependent KITAS

    If you are residing in Indonesia and want to bring your family along with you, then this one is suitable for you. Let your dearest one be your companion. Indonesia allows its visitors to bring their spouse or child along with them by applying this type of KITAS. However, dependent KITAS holders are obliged to have their own visa and are not allowed to work throughout their stay in Indonesia. The validity of this KITAS will depend on the primary KITAS.
